    Mike Tyson in K-1?

There has been some talk in the Japanese media of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson participating in a K-1 extreme fighting event.

K1 is perfect for Tyson and he deserves any extra cash he could get........however, from what I know he is prohibited from entering Japan due to his criminal record.....

K1 suits his "heart and will" at this age as it is only a 3 round per fight competition.....so he fights 3 rounds per fight.....

I'd love to see him down Sapp....timberrrrr.

All I can say is Tyson better start preparing for leg kicks, and seeing kicks coming. Ray Mercer got KTFO last time he went into K1 from a kick to the head, first round too.

He's going to get this to his face and quit.

He has no chance, he's going to get knocked out in every match. They can just low kick him each time and eventually its going to break his knee or ankle. He has more of a chance in UFC or Pride where there are no gloves than he does in a gloved event simply because he will have so much more power with no gloves on and it will be easier for him to strike.

I say Mike Tyson won't win a single K1 fight, it they put him against real opposition that have fought at K1 before.

I disagree. I think Tyson would have a great chance considering that Botha almost defeated the top K1 fighter, Bojansky. If Bojanksy hadn't landed that last minute round house kick to the head, Botha would have won by decision (or should have).

Tyson is 39, he shouldn't be fighting anymore.

Tyson would be a danger to anyone in k1 due to his heavy hands, but im not sure he would have the heart to take leg kicks very well(he may give up).But i would still take him to beat Sapp.
