There is a rematch clause. I believe I saw an article when the fight was signed that said that if Marquez beat Pacquiao he would get 10 million in a 4th fight.

          Absolutely.

JMM is a great fighter and 1st ballot HOF'er IMO. But he loses to floyd mayweather jr EVERY TIME they fight.

Nothing else really needs to be said here.

Sure, you want to see him humiliated? But'd it'd be a big money fight though.

I'm quoting the first opinion I agree with in this thread.

Marquez can't beat Mayweather. You need an aggressive fighter for Marquez to win...look at Juan Diaz, look at Katsidis, look at his fights with Pacquiao.

If you fight defensively against Marquez, you'll give him fits.

Marquez will have greater success against Pacquiao...but even if he knocks Pacquiao out...he won't beat Mayweather. He just won't. I'd bet the house on it. Same with Cotto if Mayweather decides to fight him if Cotto beats Margarito.

Mayweather's never gonna' be the underdog in a fight unless he goes up to middleweight and even, I'm not sure.

The closest odds you'll get and thus the best opponents that people would enjoy seeing against Mayweather would be:

                    Amir Khan
Martínez at 154 (even though I don't think Martínez can make it comfortably anymore)
                    Manny Pacquiao

                      LMAO!!!

They should just leave it at 1-1-1 if Marquez wins. No need for a fourth fight. Why taint the fight with a fourth fight. Just leave it at that. But whatever, I guess Pacquiao has to be coming off a win if there is any hope to intrigue the general public for Mayweather-Pacquiao.

Márquez has a chance in this third fight. By the time the fourth fight rolls around, it may be too late...
