I've seen Joe Frazier around a couple of times. He used to make an appearance every once in a while at my gym because the owner knew him pretty well.

But I remember one time he was at the bar/restaurant I worked at. At the time I was a dishwasher and I asked the manager if I could go out and say hi to him. The manager said I couldnt because its not right to let employees badger the customers, which was reasonable. So I asked the waitress to tell me when Joe was done eating and when he was I went out to the parking lot to catch up with him. He couldnt have been nice, he gave me a hand crushing handshake, took a picture with me on my cell phone, and we talked boxing in the parking lot for 15 minutes. Great experience, coolest dude ever, not to mention he could dress like a boss.
