Frazier would come in for alot more criticism for certain matchups if there was a boxingscene around in the 1970's.People would be wondering why Mac Foster isn't a credible enough opponent but why a light heavyweight in Bob Foster is.

When you've been beaten to a pulp and willingly retire on your stool, you don't have an argument for saying a fight "could have gone either way".

Ali said it himself that he was glad Fraziers corner threw in the towel (he actually wanted to go on) because he (Ali) couldn't make the bell.

Ali would be seen as Floyd is now. Pretty much. He's ****y as ****, easy to hate and doesn't go charging head first into fights. He'd be seen like Floyd.

He'd be more divisive, but have a far larger fanbase. At similar points in their career, Ali was a boxing god. From what I've seen most the hatred for him was when he was young and not completely proven.

No,Frazier didn't want to go on.His whole body language at the end of the fourteenth round is that of a beaten man,of a man that has been beaten into submission. No real protest from Frazier(for a man who apparently felt strong about it) during Futch's call to the referee, this was despite both men feeling that he(Frazier was ahead on the scorecards at the time.)

You can argue that Floyd is also a "boxing God" in today's era, but he was hated for the same thing Ali was; personality and attitude. If they had boxingscene back then, you'd hear a bunch of flag waving Americans criticizing Ali to no end about him not joining the military and certain pro-black comments and choices he would make. Actually the hate Ali would have gotten had the internet been around would have been out of this world and would have made Floyd seem like a loved public figure.

Good point. Obviously, I have no clue what it would have been like.

It would be broken down into 3 groups:

                    Ali-tards
                    Joemos
                    Foreskins
