Well, BT reports that Dibella said Codrington doesn't have a fractured anything right now. So I guess that's good.

Yeah, he'll do well just to fight again really after that knockout. Holy ****, talk about a devastating knockout. I admit I was wrong on the fight prediction, no doubt. But, I still think Codrington could possibly regroup. Green jumped on him and got him out of there in a hurry.

Don't let that fool you though. Codrington really was good. He dropped Andre Dirrel twice in his last match in the amatuers. Had that fight been a pro fight, Codrington would've gotten the win.

Damn, what happened tonight is what I tried to capture in my boxing film. That feel of total deflation. Just BAM and its over, your fighter is out on the floor there. There isn't much worse feeling in the world. And tonight it was more than just he lost a match of course.

gotta agree with you....i can just imagine him waking up tom. feeling like total ****. I hope he regroups and comes back even harder, stronger. that first shot Green landed was a quick one, i don't wanna say lucky, but it was a quick left hook i believe? Oh well...

Oh I wouldn't call anything about the knockout lucky. It was totally fair. There's nothing I can say, and Codrington is my favorite prospect. He just got caught, went to the ropes, and Green was all over him. Green took advantage, as he was supposed to, and landed what he had to for the knockout.

Exactly. He is expected to have a full recovery so let's leave it at that. Where does this leave Allan Green. I think he should take on a top 10-15 guy as soon as possible. He has 20 fights under his belt he needs to take a step ups. His career wins have been relatively weak even though he is still a prospect.

You keep saying he has 20 fights under his belt, but im not mistaken, doesn't he have 18 fights so far? Boxrec says his record is 18-0-0 with 12 knockouts.

I really feel for that guy Jaidon. I know he's ****y and I didn't really like him all that much but I wouldn't wish that upon anybody.

Does he bounce back from this? My friend, a casual fan, asked if he can come back from that. My answer was no. What do you guys think??
if he can come back from that physically that would be great, but he is going to be gun shy after that loss. i hope the kid is ok, but a successful come back from that kind of loss is highly unlikely....

Bad promoting by Dibella...What else is new?

I hope Jaidon learns from this loss, I really do.

When I heard the outcome I was in shock. An 18 second loss and he's in critical condition. I was in a loss for words.

                      I'm glad he's okay.
