now everyones knows they are both trained by Freddie Roach, and supposedly that is the reason this fight will never happen.
But everyone forgets that team Pac already OFFERED Khan a fight, back in 2009. That was just two fights removed from being KOed by Prescott.

So why was team Pac wanting to fight an Amir Khan who was coming off a KO loss to Prescott months earlier, who just moved up to 140, and also was being trained by Freddie Roach at the time as well.

Fast foward to 2011. Amir is 1000x times better than he was in 09. The word is is that Khan has gotten the better of Manny in sparring. Now, they won't even let Pac spar with him or even train together. Why did they want to fight him back in 2009 when the fight wasn't even credible and saw him as a future opponent, and now its seem like they want nothing to do with him and are trying to distance Khan and Pac
Does anybody seriously think the only reason that fight "cant" happen is because they are both trained by Roach? That wasn't a factor back in 2009. Khan would take that fight in a HEARTBEAT right now. Or is the real issue that team Pac feels threatened by Khan. That they wouldn't be able to weight drain him. That he is bigger, taller, a better boxer, and just as fast. That he is young and prime.
