I hate to say this, but I doubt Paul has enough left or the confidence to win this fight. He'd be doing fine, get smashed by something big, get beat up afterwards, and get stopped.

I do, but Kirkland isn't the style of fighter like Martinez or Lara. Kirkland got stopped by Ishida and almost KO'd against Angulo. He'd be punching up at Williams as well. Williams would land many shots on Kirkland and stop him rather early. Kirkland's defense is pretty bad as well, and we've seen what's happened to Kirkland when he got caught early. Conyers, Ishida and Angulo have all blasted him. Kirkland won't be able to bully Williams around the ring either. Of course it's possible to go the other way, but I don't think it would. It'd be a great fight though.

Correction:Kirkland is busy now chasing a fight with Alvarez, a job he got from Angulo. Lets see if Kirkland is as patient as Angulo was and if he can wait two years too.
