Ward is very composed. Ward could be the next superstar in American boxing, very well spoken, composed and talented but the thing is he isn't amazing at anything. Unlike guys like Tyson, Floyd, DLH, Ward is just good at everything but not great at anything. Can't say for certain, maybe he breaks away from SHO and HBO starts getting him even bigger names but I can't see him breaking through, despite being one of the best fighters in the world.

It didn't seem like that to me. If anything Ward seemed rather composed and was able to get the best of Froch. He hardly let Carl get a word out. Even if he were to get under his skin, Ward isn't the type of fighter that would fight outside of his comfort zone, he's a rather smart fighter. It is going to be very difficult for Carl to rattle him.
