Reading the comments on this thread, I find it repulsive that many welcome the use of steroids to combat the possibilty of the opponent on steroids. Yet Floyd gets blasted for wanting stricter testing and an even playing field???

I despair sometimes, I really do.

But Memo has at least 20 substances he created that are undetectable through testing. Marion Jones, Tim Montgomery, Maurice Greene, etc all the athletes that he named as users never failed a single Olympic style test despite being subjected to truly random testing (year round, including out of competition).

Seems like Manny's only options are fighting a clearly roided/PED absuing Marquez or go on a 2 year long vacation. Such a dilemma, whatever will he do?

Whether random blood testing isn't better than random urine testing? Is that your argument?

OK fine I agree is not better than random urine testing.

The problem is that we don't have random urine testing right now.

We have one piss test that's after the fight. That's it and that's in some states. In others they won't even test you unless they have probable cause.

My question wasn't if random blood testing is better than random urine testing. My question is what is better random blood/urine testing(Floyd demand) for training camp or one damn piss test after the fight?
of course multiple random tests are better than a single test after the fight. its common sense man! and for the record, team pac already AGREED TO UNLIMITED RANDOM URINE TESTS.

          floyd doesn't want stricter testing.

he wants his opponent to take tests that HE chose.

to be administered by people HE hired.

to be done during a schedule HE dictates (within two months of a fight).

and for the record, i wish manny agreed to the random blood tests. personally, i think its really not actually better than random urine tests other than it being invasive and its simply a bluff of the mayweather camp to avoid a fight with manny. and its a bluff manny unfortunately didn't call.

Exactly so WTF are you arguing about? You the one that said that the test that Floyd is asking for is not better than what we have no. Did you get lost somewhere? At least now you admit that testing is better than the crap we got now.

No such thing as better testing. Testing is ineffective. Period.
