imagine if you suffered a career ending knockout loss and got paid nothing for it

even if you dont get badly hurt, a knockout loss to maglinaggi is career ending either way.


if they want to go 60/40 i think that's pretty ballsy

the promotors will have to make sure they only split the fighter money obviously, but i think it would make a nice stunt


and who knows, with paulies legs slowing down and alexander just not being that good it could end up being a pretty decent scrap

anytime a fighter says "lets do winner takes all", its nothing but BS lip service. Their managers still have to be paid, their trainers, cutmen, camp expenses, etc. Its ****** to even suggest it.

If he was serious, he would suggest something like "lets each put $100k of our purses in a hat, and winner gets it"
