    Pemberton going to upset Lacy

I'm probably going to get a lot of heat for this but I think Pemberton is going to pull an upset. Ever notice that brawlers 9 times out of 10 lose to tough guys with good jabs? Just watching the Sheika fights with both guys Pemberton has enough skill and toughness to beat Lacy. Remember, Lacy was losing until he landed that monster shot, like most of his fights. Remeber.....I called it!

i think lacy is only going to lose to a fighter that is a slick boxer who can exploit lacy's shortness

.....If your right then you will be a boxingscene god. It won't happen though. Lacy has never been hurt and he will take two to land one and just keep coming and coming until he gets his man.

Haha, yes I will. I just don't see Lacy landing that monster shot that he has landed in EVERY one of his fights. Look at the Sheika fight, he was losing till he landed a monster shot.

Iceman Scully (who will be in the Sandman's corner) was on 'In this Corner' last night, and he was talking about how they were working on getting Scotty to use his height (he's 6'2) behind a great jab. He said they have seen weakness in the Sheika fight, and that they will look to make adjustments depending on how the fight starts to look.

Lacy's a strong favorite, but I wouldn't write off Scotty. If he comes prepared and uses his height and jab, he could cause some problems.

Lacy is a good fighter, but he def has weaknesses, no doubt about that.

gotta keep a jab on lacy to beat him, but lacy is a mean ass counter puncher, if scotty has a tough chin maybe he cna outbrawl lacy, i seriously doubt it though

I think Lacy will win, then lets see Lacy-Calzaghe. Thats what i want to see anyway.... To me this is a warm up for that fight just like Evans Ashira was a warm up for Calzaghe....

If Showtime is smart and wants to get an early 2006 jump on HBO then they will have Calzaghe via satelite ready to talk with Lacy right after the fight.

Showtime should do EVERYTHING in its power to make sure this fight comes off sometime in early 06...it is a cant miss fight and one that will again pose the question...why is showtime outdoing it's big brother?

Lacy v. Calzaghe must happen and if it does the buzz after this fight will once again have fans scratching there heads at HBO.
