Can someone tell why Bute has to Fight Outside Canada?

He his the biggest draw at SMW, he draws 16K+ crowds everytime, so why is he have to come to the US and fight in a venue with 5K+ people for way less money?

I doesnt make sense to me.

And can people STFU already about Butes opposition, every top SMW was tied up to the Super 6 tournament, he fought the best opponents available at the moment.

I'm sure the gripe mainly comes from fans still annoyed about Marlon Wright's disgraceful job working Bute-Andrade I.

However, any fighter that only fights at home is going to get harshly criticized, especially if they're holding a belt. Andre Ward and Chris John are prime examples.

At Home? Canada is a country.

USA is a country. I don't see anyone complaining that Mayweather is fighting out of the US and don't travel.

Bute fought in Quebec City last night, usually in Montreal he can pack the Bell Centre of 22K people. Its a lot of money packing that arena.

Why he is fighting in only one province ? Because Bute isn't really known or loved outside of the province, he can't communicate in English, which doesn't help his image West of Ottawa.

I'd say only comfort is the only real advantage at home. Crowd could be an advantage but we see fight that went out wrong as it adds pressure to the home fighter. There are lots of robberies in the US as well. I often think the average of robberies against good judging is the same all around the world. But like most cases, we often see just the bad spot on a white cloth. .

Media, yeah probably. But don't really factor it as I only look at things inside the ring so exposure/money doesn't count ... at least in my book. I seriously doubt when the other guy is punching you, you keep thinking of money or exposure.

Who's to say he has to come to the U.S.? He could go to England to fight Froch or Denmark to fight Kessler or to Germany to Stieglitz. I think those would sold out arenas and the money comparable..
