Quillin vs McEwan

What were your thoughts on the fight?

It was an OK fight, on paper. But on fight night no one really shined. Quillin of course looked better. Looked fast but not very accurate. And the stoppage was bad. A forgiveable fight.

I thought it was mostly one sided, and Quillin did what he had to do. McEwan had this nasty black welt under his eye, but I think that was caused by that one headbutt. Still, if he was looking to gain fans, I think he didn't do a great job. It was pretty boring. Sure, one sided fights are often boring, but it's still possible to look impressive in one sided fights, and Quillin didn't deliver.
