If Mayweather does this then he is fighting a Pacquiao left over and making a bad decision. Mayweather/Pacquiao is NEVER going to happen. It's funny how Bob Arum has said in the past how Floyd was a priority for Manny and even broke out a clock but since Floyd said he wanted Manny, Arum has been trying his hardest to prove that Floyd doesn't instead of working it out with him. I think the fans of both fighters should boycott both of them until they put their ego's aside and give us the fight we want. But I honestly think it is Arum who doesn't want this fight. Not Manny or Floyd but Bob.

I'm not a fan of Floyd Mayweather, but I still respect his skill. Morales is too old and too small to be any challenge for Mayweather. If he Mayweather fights Morales May 5, it's an insult to himself. Fight Pacquiao bro.Comment

Floyd grabbed the date May 5, 2012, which happens to fall on a Saturday. He obviously did before Arum takes it. By this action it's obvious that Pacquiao is not the opponent in Floyd's mind.
And here are these fanatical, ****** Floyd apologists blaming Arum for someone else's move. WTF! Are these people gone crazy or what?

leonard ellerbe/ al haymon/ richard schaefer have to be really tactfull in the way they deal with negotiations this time out....
they shouldn't react to these statements.... and just wait for the marquez fight to happen, and then really push for the fight....Comment

BS FIGHT. i thought he said he was looking for the biggest fight out there!? this would be the first fight of his id not watch. even for free. might at well start fighting at nursing homes

you can't put this one off on bob. . . at least not all of it. . . he said if floyd's people CONTACTED TOP RANK, then they could start working. . . if they actually tried to contact pacsmash's promotional team, why would they not come out and say "hey, we are trying to negotiate with dubeof and top rank, but they won't return our calls, etc."? THE LAST TIME they were about to make the fight, floyd WOULD NOT ANSWER the calls, and pacsmash just couldn't wait around forever while floyd vacations. . . DRUG TESTING WAS SETTLED, PURSE WAS SETTLED, everything. . floyd just didn't want to answer the calls before the deadline.Comment
