If you want Mayweather to fight Pacquiao, Mayweather cheats you every PPV purchase and it is not against Pacquiao. Pacquiao is public in wanting the fight, while Mayweather throws a jab and pulls it back in virtually no time.

No spin, just expressing the climate of the sport during the time period you're talking about. When Mayweather wanted Cotto, Cotto didn't want it. A couple years later, Cotto supposedly wanted it, Mayweather had better options. So if you're gonna blame one, you gotta blame them both.

There was never a time where Mayweather-Margarito was THE FIGHT in the welterweight divsion. Every time Margarito would position himself, he'd lose. Remember Williams? Remember Mosley? Why is Mayweather obligated to fight a guy who keeps on losing?

Pacquiao fought Mosley and Hatton the first Saturday of May for 2 of the last 3 years so it's obviously a target date for Arum, Top Rank, and co. This man is a habitual liar and distorter of truth.

to me, it does make sense because a while back, i did read about a news article about a fraud vs morales fight...as far as it being official, just gotta wait and see what happens in the next month or so...because they need to start doing road tours and begin training

Its up to HBO to initiate the negotiations. Because neither parties would wanna make the first move to a real and proper negotiations. All I hear are a bunch of rumors, and press release from both sides.

As soon as Pac defeats JMM (which I think he will), Ken Herschman must stand on the podium during the post conference, and announce that HBO will mediate the negotiations.

The same thing that they did in 2 negotiations that failed (real negotiations, and not those bogus ones released by bloggers, and press releases from both promoters).

And since they are the one putting up the bill. Let HBO mediate and make the final decision on issues on the purse split, OST, fines and penalty on weight.. And whatever contract points that could probably cause another impasse..

HBO needs to make a stand on this one. I feel 3 years of back and forth non sense has gone too far. Fans needs closure. Either HBO can officially say that the fight is on. Or they could make the announcement that the fight just cannot be made, and will no longer be made...
