  • Comments Thread For: Pacquiao-Marquez 24/7; Episode 3 Review and Recap

While the last two Pacquiao-Marquez 24/7 episodes had been enjoyable, it appears things may be slowing down a bit in terms of what angles can be covered for both fighters. There was a bit more focus on the things around the fighters this episode. One of the more interesting parts is we get to hear from Marquez’s strength and conditioning coach Angel Hernandez (or is it Heredia? Or Memo?) regarding his checkered past that has recently been brought to light.

I felt sorry for pac's entourage who all need to endure his guitar playing and singing.

both guys are warriors... BUT are there two people with dryer personalities? i could watch both fight for hours or days on end but i could never spend more than ten minutes with either one. at least with floyd youd get criminal charges to never forget. AND HAVE FUN GETTIN THEM.

theyre training. theyre not there to entertain you. maybe on fight night but to expect that much from them is asking for too much.

and it goes for everyone. not everyone is fun lol. even then, go be director and try consistently try to make a piece entertaining when you dont have much to play with.

im surprised they brought up the angel guy. wasnt ariza attached to balco too?

ariza saying he doesnt care if marquez is on something, doesnt that kind of show that ariza knows what can be taken and is not even that advantageous or worth it? the fact that he knows this could be seen as a little iffy.

wow, still on that one eh.. you know he never said he was afraid of needles.
there reasoning was that giving blood made him feel weak.
which he had to before the morales fight that he lost, though that loss probably had a lot more to do with the fact that he was wearing winning's instead of reyes.
but more so he probably didn't comply in the first place because of the fact that the mayweathers with no proof whatsoever accused him of using roids.
On top of all that, he ended up agreeing to do the testing anyways.

The poor simp has only done what millions of others have done before him. All he has to do is say, that he committed a crime in his chosen business, which happens to be the sport of boxing where a clean name is important, and because of that, he eanted to change his name and have a fresh start without dragging any impedimenta with him. This is a laudable pan. That it didn't work, is just unfortunate.

{I personally knew a woman who had a known German name at a time when German names were unpopular. She changed it legally to a French styling of the same name, and has lived happily ever after}.

But he needs to say no more than that, and we can assume that it's true. It's logical anyway.

Hopefully the next episode can keep me awake, the 3rd one wasn't good at all, but I guess that just means it's getting closer to fight day.
