Zab Judah, the Brownsville transplant now living in Las Vegas, could make his return to the ring in February or March, his father, Yoel Judah told BoxingScene. Judah remains in Las Vegas, licking his wounds after a disappointing effort against Amir Khan in July, which ended with Judah seemingly feigning a low blow and the referee counting him out in the fifth round. Yoel blamed that performance by Judah on a flawed game plan created, in part, by trainer Pernell Whitaker. [Click Here To Read More]

He will fight a softy, then some C level fighter in an eliminator, then totally fail and get ko'd when he gets yet another title shot while ppl will still back and support him no matter how many failed attempts he has at the A level of the sport.
All the talent in the world and good skills but he just doesn't have the intangibles to be a great fighter. -
“It was the wrong style to use against Khan,” Yoel said. “This is not a dancing contest. You can’t go in there and dance around the ring, and expect to win. I told Pernell before the fight, that if you go in there with that Whitaker stuff, I told him it’s the wrong style. That stuff worked 20 years ago. These fighters today, they throw punches, that’s what we should have been doing.”
No, Yoel. Your son just sucks. Pernell was telling him to throw 3-4 punch combinations but he wouldn't/couldn't execute. Lol at thinking that 'Whitaker stuff' wouldn't work today.Comment

Who cares really? Zab showed no heart, no desire, no will to win and is paycheck fighter now...YOu were a great fighter who had all those atributes.. you lost alot of fan base by standing there like a punching bag and let someone smaller than you just spank you around all night long...Embarassing... I actually gave him a shot to upset Khan,or at least give him a fight... boy was I wrong...No1 cares bout Zab anymore.. just retire....Once you lose fan base its done deal... Thx for the memories...Comment

id like to see him continue to fight. maybe five more. i kinda see him as a tape measure. like the cutoff point between journeymen and elite fighters. you know where his opponent stands after seeing them fight. except for floyd who everyone knew was something special from the get go. only problem with him is heart. once hes behind its done. if he were unrelenting hed be in the upper echelon of guys out thereComment
