Has Vazquez recovered from his eye injuries?

No. Miguel Vazquez. Title holder at 135.

I think Marquez will relinquish his titles and fight Erik Morales at 140lbs.

Burns will become full champion then. Which means the lineal title is also up for grabs and should be in the hands of Brandon Rios some time next year.

I think Burns should unify against DeMarco or Vazquez next, and if that isn't possible then I wouldn't mind him fighting Gavin Rees as it's a domestic fight that would probably sell quite well in the UK and would keep Burns busy until a top class opponent comes his way.

He's a defensive fighter with a low KO ratio. At times against Katsidis he was counter-punching in a Mayweather-esque fashion...

However Burns has shown that he can go to war too and go blow-for-blow.. Did you not see his fight against Rocky Martinez? Candidate for fight of the year in 2010.

Plus he has heart. He came off the canvas in the first round to beat Martinez.

I'd rather Frank Warren and Burns to grow balls and fight Rios. But Warren and Burns keep milking the cow for all its worth before taking on any serious threats.

They tried to make a unification fight with Fana at 130lbs earlier this year but Fana was complaining about the money I think so it didn't get made. The fight would have been for the Ring Magazine title too.

If you're referring to the Broner situation, I think it was 50/50.. As in, I think Ricky was definitely struggling with the wait which is why he moved up. But I also think they were ducking Broner too... I don't blame them though as I wouldn't risk fighting a dangerous opponent like him if I was weight-drained.

I think they'll keep matching Burns with 1-D fighters like Martinez and Katsidis as Burns has shown that he has the skills, heart and chin too beat them. It would be interesting to see him go against a good technical boxer though.
