it's not just one round though, he went through an entire training camp for that fight he had two months ago. I'm sure he trained for it like a regular fight and not one that would last 1 round.

People keep saying he had an 18 month layoff or whatever but he fought 2 months ago and had a full training camp for that fight.

A lot of things could have happened that resulted in different outcome. Another good shot from Angulo could have been over. This kind of fight hard to tell.
why are some fans on here happy to pay for a ppv when it could be on hbo for FREE....

Kirkland beats Angulo faster in the rematch. So I vote no rematch...why put Mexico and Angulo through any more agony? He was OWNED in his own house...smh

My point is that this should be a more "PPV"-worthy than say Dawson vs Hopkins.

this fight could have been more exciting if angulo didn't punch himself out in the first round. i would love to see a rematch.

Eventually, but not next. Let him recover, get his confidence back, and possibly get a title. I would still take Angulo over K-9, Cotto, whoever holds the WBO, and even if he moved up and fought Sturm.

He just needs to recover from this mentally. Kirkland just outstrengthed him and stopped him. He needs to recover mentally moreso than physically.
