The **** u talking about with anne Wolfe that woulda never happened with ishida. Anne wolfe made all the difference not to mention kirkland would have beat the count if cortez gave him a chance like he gave marquez in the first pac fight. Ishida just kept catching him off balance with straight shots.

The only person that should be given a round of applause for making it out of the first round is Angulo. Kirkland was on him from the beginning before the flash knockdown. Then he continued his dominance. Hats off to Angulo for taking his beating like a man.

Cant train chin man but you can build resolve. Thats what he had tonight, crazy determination and good stamina but I still see him getting lit up down the line. Just my opinion.

I don't see Canelo fighting Kirkland, he will continue to fight bums imo. I hope Team Alvarez proves me wrong though.

i have to say i was one of those people saying "if kirkland shows up with the chin he had vs julio then he has a chance. but still, i don't see it happening". angulo was the favorite, it's not hard to comprehend that people would pick the favorite to win. i did, but i wasn't really concerned on who won just as long as both fought their hearts out. tonight definitely made me a fan of kirkland, not a bandwagon one cause i think alvarez or lara could possibly beat him, but just as a real fan. he showed he can bounce back from a devastating loss (an upset as well) and put on a performance that will be remembered. i hope he lands a fight next with a big name at 154.

Im not saying hes unstoppable. Sergio and Lara will be his worse nightmare but if kirkland has a glass jaw then so does fraizer and marquez because they all got knocked down alot but always get back up. That's not glass to me, glass is khan and Roy Jones getting knocked cold.

His chin is still kind of questionable, he went down from what a straight right hand from Angulo? It was like the first punch Angulo landed on him. His chin will have question marks but his heart sure the hell can't have any question marks.

that's not the only punch that landed in the whole fight man.
