how did they do little, e****ally Floyd? Also, why should Kirkland get extra credit for being more vulnerable? Its like punishing Floyd & Hopkins for having great D. I just never understood the thought of guys being seen as warriors or given 10x more credit just because they take punishment. Same with Gatti, Katsidis, and so on. Sure its great to watch but dont give them extra credit for it or take away credit from guys who have mastered the craft of not getting hit.
Again, I know youre a B-Hop fan so thats not what you mean all the wway but its also not fair to act like he did so much more just because he went through hell. If thats the case then he owes them alot more for getting KO by Ishida in 1 round while they were going 12 hard rounds in other fights.
I know what you meant with your overall point. You just wanted to give him a ton of credit because he makes so little compared to them but gave a warrior's performance and youre in the moment just like you said but the respect of the fans and viewers are more then enough. He can take that and turn it into money for his next fight when everyone will want to see him again now
I'm not getting into this nonsense. I'm not talking about their safety first styles but how early their last fight ended, and in controversy. Either you agree with the sentiment or you don't.
I didn't even read your entire post before responding. You insinuated that I was talking about their Safety first style. And therefore Kirkland should get some of their money?
NO, I was talking about their last fight specifically. 4 rounds, barely breaking a a sweat and fight ending in controversy VS Ortiz. And Hopkins in 2 rounds, not even getting started. Both making a lot of money.

I know. You already told me that and then I gave my response and my basic point was that no matter what, he shouldnt get extra credit for being in a war, for taking more punishment, or being a more vulnerable fighter. I never get that. Then I said that if thats the case then he needs to pay them way more for being KO in 30sec vs Ishida while theyve had other tough 12 round fights in there careers

You're wrong. There is always a sentimental reward when two fighters go to war. People even talk about the loser of the fight in a good manner. I.E. "Both guys stock went up tonight". I.E. The announcer asking the audience to give both "WARRIORS" a big applause for the entertaining fight they gave them. This never happens with two technical guys fighting competitively.
Or in the UFC, fighters who put on a extra good fight get Bonus Money. Not because they won, but because of what they went through to get that WIN.
So you're wrong. The sentiment that guys who went to war should get Bonus money is there. FROM BOXING FANS & COMMENTATORS alike.
Of course in Boxing, nobody is going to give it to them. Hence why I created a thread, that the two guys who didn't do much in their last PPV generated fights, should give up some of that money and reward this guy for a War.
No bandwagon jumping here. I just think he deserves a lot more money for the effort he put in tonight, to comeback and win and Hopkins and Floyd (both who I like) should write him a check precisely because of their last fights, and how they ended.
They made PPV money, he didn't tonight. As the commentators said, this could easily be replayed on PPV and worthy of a buy.
Check hooks is the same ass-clown who was in the lounge calling everyone idiots for picking the cardinals to beat his rangers. Guys a ****ing *******, and he was insulting peoples mothers if I remember correctly all because people weren't picking his Rangers who ended up losing to the Cards anyways.

I wouldn't know anything about that since I don't watch Baseball. Unless it's a movie related to Baseball, it's boring.
