Kirkland vs. Lara anybody?

was kirkland one of those who turned down a lara fight when this card was being brought up? i know angulo, trout, and dzinziruk did, i'm wondering if kirkland was one as well. either way, molina and lara deserve a big fight, james kirkland is here.

people writing off Kirkland? ive made that mistake before....sure, he has a poor chin and all...but Lara's stamina is pretty poor....cant see him having an easy time with the pressure Kirkland brings.....

Dzinziruk was in training camp to defend his title when he "turned down" a Lara fight. I like Lara but he can be a loudmouth idiot.

but you have a point - i dont see anybody at 154 willing to fight kirkland except maybe paul williams and lara.

I'm sure Konecny would and he would outclass and destroy Kirkland. He's also fighting for a Interm title soon so perhaps after he wins that he'll be able to persuade someone like Kirkland into a fight.

yeah and now he doesn't have it anymore. sucks for him, i'd like to see the rematch between him and konecny next year if dzinziruk doesn't get a fight here in the states. i think he might though cause this division is stacked with great potential matchups, dzinziruk included.

Ya he got a elbow injury or something half way through camp so they made Konecny's replacement fight for the WBO interm title. He will have to unify with Dzinziruk once Serhiy is back. Remember that Dzinziruk is in the US now, i believe with Gary Shaw. I expect Lukas to win their rematch.

Konecny vs Kirkland is the fight i most want to see. Lara sure as hell needs something too maybe he can get Bundrage he's rated high there.
