Just watched the highlight of the Joel Julio fight and noticed a glaring flaw in Kirkland. He did the same thing against Ishida: when he was staggered and hurt, he fired back and stood toe to toe with his opponent. I hope Kirkland has learned that that is not best way to recover in a fight. To some extend a fighter must go into survival mode until the round ends or he gets his balance and feet back. All the great fighters of today are good 'surivors' if you will. Bhop, Mayweather, Wladimir, etc., etc...

The dog is to Vicious for kirkland in a good fight but the dog got this one in his hometown no way he loses. Golden boy is using Kirkland as a stepping stone well more like a tombstone in a dog cemetery Lol.

i'm hoping to god kirkland's chin is pretty good on this night, cause if it's not, it's going to be another easy win for el perro. it should be good though cause now that he's back with wolfe, he should be looking like he did against julio. can't wait though, it's going to be a war for however long it lasts. i got angulo coming out on top in the end though

This fight is all at the wrong time an reasons.

Years ago, this fight was hyped so beautifully

But since then Angulo has lost and been inactivate cause of visa issues. He hasn't been active and progressed at all to a world class fighter.

Kirkland went to jail losing the time to progress into a more well rounded world class fighter.

Now we have an inactivate fighter vs another one who's careers have both been ruined and the once great megafight is just another fireworks. Sad. **** disappoints me so much. But ill take it.

it certainly could be, or it could mean that spending two years in prison and fighting 3 times in less than a month and above his normal fighting weight wasn't the best thing for him at the time and he got caught early.

Maybe he's never the same again. But prior to prison he did walk through Julio's punches and Vera's who one would suspect are much harder punchers than the japanese dude.

So we have to wait and see. I don't think Kirkland and Wolfe would take this fight if they didn't think they couldn't win, it's not like he's getting paid a million dollars. It's do or die for them.

I'd love to see Ann Wolfe and Kirkland getting this victory...I'm pulling for them, but my head says Angulo stopping Kirkland in the 2nd round. Yep...

If his chin DOES hold up (like old Kirkland), we'll definitely get a fight of the year.

However, judging from the last fights, I got Angulo winning.

Don't hire the judges, this fight has a 95% KO probability.
