A good fight, a contender for FOTY but not a winner (Angulo was very slow after 1st round which spoilt it alittle).

Kirkland surprised me, he still looks very vulnerable though. Someone with better stamina will give him a proper test.

Alvarez drops him in the first also but he actually finishes him......something was off with Angulo tonight because he's usually all smiles but even in the fighters introductions he demeanor seemed off....I mean look at his other fights, he actually fights with energy but as soon as the bell rang in the first he already seemed lethargic. Alvarez spanks kirkland easily you can count on that.

ppl say angulo punched himself out but the truth is, the only thing he did right in the fight was that straight puncht that sent kirkland to the canvas. even at the beginning it was all kirkland. the fight was all kirkland except for that moment. kirkland is obviously better than everyone gave him credit for, his defense was much improved and his punch technique was on point.

i give mad props to kirkland cong****, you got up and showed heart but angulo lost the fight more then kirkland won. angulo obviously gassed himself out with about 30 seconds left and never had time to recover since kirkland is always putting pressure but like i said cong**** to kirkland he took advantage of ****ty training by angulo
