Naseem was a monster, but come on...

Marquez is smarter, showed heart, never stopped (though to be fair neither was Prince), has come back from defeat, been in there with a lot of great, top tier fighters of the past generation and done well with them.

Naseem was unique and had unbelievable power, but after his sole defeat, he just up and vanished. It was as if he was just there to cause some ruckus while enjoying his...I don't wanna' say 15 minutes...more like 30 minutes of fame. I'm sure he could've been an interesting fighter against other featherweight greats but we never saw him come back from defeat and he looked COMPLETELY lost against Barrera. Unique fighter, tremendous puncher...outside of that... :S

Naseem ranks slightly on featherweight lists, but JMM ranks higher iif it encompass their entire careers. JMM didn't really get the opportunities Naseem did at featherweight, if he had fought Barrera, Morales, Naseem, or gotten the official decision against Pacquiao, he could be ahead of him comfortably. We're not going on that though. At 126, Naseem; overall, JMM.
