Skip isnt a boxing analyst, the dude said Pacquiao is the fastest fighter since ALI. He'll find any excuse to back up Pacquiao and call Floyd a chicken because in his eyes - More Exciting = Better fighter

I've got nothing against Skip Bayless, and that segment was actually entertaining.

However, it just demonstrates the ignorance of most journalists and commentators (not much difference from casual fans) when it comes to boxing. Skip Bayless never mentioned anything about a right hand until Bob Arum brought it up. He probably couldn't even tell you why the right hand is the reason Arum says Floyd is avoiding Manny. He's just regurgitating what Arum said, because it's something he hasn't thought of before.

He doesn't mention why it changes things when a southpaw has knockout power in his right hand and he's facing an orthodox fighter. He probably has no idea.

And yes, he did say that Pacquiao is the fastest fighter since Ali, which would be another casual fan thing to say. There have been lots of fighters who are as fast or even faster than Ali - several of them. But to a casual fan, it's just Ali and then Pacquiao. Also, he'll most likely say that Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest fighter of all time, but he probably couldn't tell you why.

Skip clearly has an agenda against Floyd. It's one thing to say Floyd is ducking the fight, it's another to completely disregard Mayweather as a great fighter. Skip says that Pacquaio would knock Mayweather out in 4 rounds. SERIOUSLY?! No objective analyst could possibly say that. Mosley, Clottey, and Margarito all went the distance. Marquez arguably beat him twice. Yet Mayweather, the greatest defensive and most skilled fighter of this era, wouldn't even last 4 rounds?

Skip has even admitted that he does not watch boxing anymore, but this is one fight he would watch to see "Mayweather get knocked out". He says he bases his analysis on the "eye test" and anyone with eyes can clearly see Pacquaio is superior to Mayweather just from watching the highlights. Well, when you consider there are many that say Pacquiao would have to knock Mayweather out in the first 4 to win, that's not a crazy prediction unless you think Pacquiao has no shot, which I would call crazier than a prediction of Pacquiao stopping Floyd early.

I remember when they were talking Tyson when he was inducted into the HOF and where he ranked in terms of all time great HWs, Skip had him NUMBER ONE!!! He said he doesn't look at fights he bases it on the "eye test" lmaooo, and that Tyson was the most spectacular fighter he's ever seen. He uses the same reasoning for Pacquaio. You had to have heard wrong, because I've heard Skip say multiple times that Ali was the greatest ever and would knock TKO Tyson by the 3rd round.
