Had it not been for Kirlands chin I'd pick him to beat Angulo. Kirkland has been rocked in every fight I've seen him in. I don't see anything special about Angulo. He's slow and very predictable but he's a tough guy who can **** with both hands and has a very good chin.

It would be cool to see Kirkland pull the upset but I think Angulo will be able to take Kirklands punches and unfortunately for Kirkland he won't take Angulo's punches.

Kirkland was looking great before he went to Jail, he doesn't look like the same Kirkland anymore. But thats not an excuse, who ever wins earned the win. I would say before Kirkland went to jail he appeared to be the better overall boxer but now he seems to get hit much more and is looking for the KO all the time.

I definitely dont like how Kirkland gets hit so often and cleanly with the right hand.. He may have need 1-2 more fights before Angulo.. But hey, he says hes ready and I agree he hasnt looked as good after prison. Prison can ruin a fighter.. But we shall see saturday

Has Angulo ever fought a Southpaw?

People go on about Kirklands chin but Angulo is absolutely horrific. I've never seen a boxer so fundamentally lacking. I am honestly amazed he's got as far as he has.

Going to go with James to pull off the upset. I fancy him to stop Angulo.
Just think he's the better boxer, he's southpaw, stronger, better conditioned, hits harder & is just better all round for me apart from having a very very questionable chin.

Angulo is fine fundamentally. He's just slow. In fact he's actually very good at placing his punches. I expect him to win going away. Always thought Kirkland would lose even when he wasn't getting KO'ed in 1 by feather fisted journeymen.

Anne Wolfe always talks about being a dog in the gym well Angulo is a dog. He's got a good chin and he'll be more than willing to trade with Kirkland in the center of the ring.

This is the fight we have been waiting for for some time now. Too bad kirkland f'ed it up by going to prison and getting rocked by an unknown. I will enjoy it while it lasts.
