[QUOTE=hugh grant;11371303]Why do Pac haters have to scrutinize with a magnifying glass every little detail in the hope of digging up dirt.
The names he fought are the biggest names in the sport, they fight the best so heaven forbid they may have one loss on their record.!!!! So what, they are still the biggest names, and the biggest names for a reason. So what that Cotto lost to margarito?
hahahahaha. your basically arguing for floyd. arum gives pac big name fighters who are washed up never primed fighters. the name doesnt matter its about how good they are when they fight. zomg tyson beat holmes who was old as ****. ali lost to bums near the end. look at rjj, lebedev and green are basically doing what pac did, but on a smalle scale. their ****** fans dont understand the complex sport of pugilism. just like 95% of pacman fans know damn well pac fighting someone was the first match they had seen. bias.Comment

Yes it's a fact. Since his fight with David Diaz in June of 2008, Manny Pacquiao has not faced 1 opponent with coming off of a big win or with at least a 3 fight winning streak for that matter.
Here's the FACTS:
- Oscar De La Hoya: 1 fight winning streak vs. Steve Forbes after having been beat by Floyd Mayweather.
- Ricky Hatton: 2 fight winning streak after having been KO'd in 11 by Floyd.
- Miguel Cotto: 2 fight winning streak after having been brutally stopped by Margarito.
- Joshua Clottey: "0" fight win streak. Lost his previous fight by decision to Miguel Cotto.
- Antonio Margarito: 1 win streak vs. Roberto Garcia in Mexico in which he looked horrible. Previous to that he had been stopped by Shane Mosley 9 rounds.
- Shane Mosley: "0" fight win streak. Coming of a draw with Sergio Mora, and an 11 round to 1 beat down by Floyd Mayweather.
In his last 3 fights the "media's" P4P champ has fought Clottey coming off a LOSS, Margarito with a 1 fight winning streak, and Shane Mosley coming off a DRAW. Thats 1-1-1.
How is this justifiable for any boxer what so ever to even be considered among the p4p discussions?Comment

The guy comes off as almost childlike in the media; it's hard to damn someone that looks like that.Comment

and in 2009 he was fighting Hatton and De La Hoya.
Hatton is a legit fight for someone who's only had one fight at welterweight which he weighed 142 pounds for. Let's not forget NOBODY thought Pacquiao would beat De La Hoya and it turned out to be one of the biggest upsets of all time.Comment
