mayweather vs martinez should be at 155

if he doesnt fight pac, mayweather should fight martinez at 155 and win the middleweight championship. this will enhance his legacy much more than a 150lb fight for no title.

if he wins the ring middleweight championship, it might be his most impressive accomplishment of his career. especially against a star like martinez.

i know theres risk giving martinez 5 more pounds, but i think the enhanced legacy is worth the risk for mayweather, who i pick to win assuming there is random OST blood tests.

what weight would be smarter for mayweather 150 or 155?

Why would it be better for Floyd to fight for the Middleweight title at 155lbs? For that, just don't fight Sergio at all (which is ultimately what will happen).

Doesnt the Ring Title basically follow the lineal champ. Not sure they would count it as changing hands if it were at a catch weight. Could be wrong though.

i think they would. technically middleweight is 154-160, so even 154.1 would count

If Martinez wants the fight he needs to fight where they say he does. He has no say in the negotiation. He is not the draw! He runs his mouth picking fights with smaller guys so he can get paid. I don't see him calling anybody at 167 and there is decent money to be had there.

Im down for a 155lb non title fight. I'm tired of Oscar/Floyd/Manny making a joke out of title challenges.

Why 155... just have it at 154 because Floyd said he doesn't do catchweights... right?

F up tool. Tell me how he is fighting smaller guys when he moved up from 154? He was comparatively smaller than Dizinziruk when they fought, was way smaller than Pavlik, smaller than Williams, smaller than Cintron, same size as Bunema, and smaller than Barker.

He isn't calling anyone out at 168 (not 167, that isn't even a ****ing weight class for crying out loud) because he started his career at 147 and he is 5 foot, 10 inches.....Bute is 6 foot, 2 and weighs 180 on fight night.......learn about the sport if you want to post here. We don't need to read dumb posts like this.
