The actual location has not been determined and the card is being staged under the promotion of Hector Garcia's HG Boxing. Saucedo has a record of 44 professional victories, four of them by knockout, in exchange for five defeats and three draws. In September in Jalisco, Salgado captured the vacant IBF title with a unanimous decision win over Argenis Mendez.
