I don't care if Marquez and Pacquiao are 12 years old, 35 years old or 60 years old, the fight will be the same, A great fight, a close war. These guys are one of the most perfect stylistic matchups in boxing history.

Maybe if this fight happened a few years ago then yeah, it would be competitive but JMM 38 and fighting at WW. Its still an interesting fight and JMM is still a very good boxer but not close to what he once was.

JMM is still going to give pac hell. pacs improved right hand and better boxing skill just might have the opposite effect. where as before he just went in swinging, now hw might go in thinking about his next move. and thats where the problem is going to come in. also i saw a you tube of roach saying they wanted floyd to come down to 142"make him struggle a bit to lose wt" what a sneaky bum, cheat. i always said this fight should be at 140. a good wt for JMM and pac. but again roach is trying to beat fighters at the scale insted of the ring. and thats too bad for a fighter like pac. he dont deserve to have bums like roach and arum in his corner.

The only way JMM has a chance is if he worked on his footwork and controlling the distance at a fast pace but like I said before- in boxing you can never underestimate the underdog.

                9 to 1 FAVORITE

I know that Pacquiao improved a lot better than Marquez the last 3 years, but
to be 9 to 1 favorite I think is too much. The two previous fights were too closed for comfort and with their style of fighting, anything can happen.
5 to 1 ODDS Pacquiao will be more LOGICAL.

IMHO,..Marquez should weigh no more than 140lbs, Pacquiao will probably go in at the most 144lbs, at the most,... I think Marquez did right by hiring a nutritionist; the fight is going to be very competitive; Manny may have a better right but he is basically the same fighter as 2008; I know he beat some WW; but none of them had as much skills as JMM, not one of them; JMM's speed is going to be a factor especially cuz Manny has been fighting slower WW's,...styles make fights and this is going to be a beauty, I cant wait,...
                  WAR JMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                    9 for 1 is a lot better that 1 for 9....

...I'll take JMM...!!! plus a KO win!!!...if JMM can sneak in those counters..Juan's build-up will definitely pay-off. Manny's too quick but if he engage he'lll definitely get hit. Juan's dramatic physique build-up is worth..a consideration....
