i haven't heard much from barrera lately,has he given any interviews saying what it is that he wants to do? does he have a particular champ he wants to face or what

I remember he said in a very recent interview he's lost teh hunger to fight, and that's he just wants one more farewell fight. Doesn't make sense to have it in Russia though.

Either this isn't true, or Barrera's gonna have more than one more fight, me thinks.

yeah i was just about to mention that interview, i think it was a boxingscene interview too. either way, barrera should have a farewell fight like he said he would and that's it. even though morales is fighting, i can't see barrera being able to stay at that level, and i'm a bigger fan of barrera. we'll see what happens, i was actually looking forward to hearing about his last fight being made.
