    According to Allboxing.ru, which refers to Team Allakhverdiev, one of the best Russian junior welterweights, Khabib Allakhverdiev (15-0, 6KOs), will possibly face Mexican icon and three-division world champion Marco Antonio Barrera (67-7, 44 KOs) in his next fight. The contest is being tentatively scheduled for next spring in Moscow, Russia.

        he is far short from money, he is very well off. he is only returning beacause of morales' latest feat. those two are always in competition

          I think he should be retired anyway, but if MAB is going to fight on then it shouldn't be at 140.

              I remember he said in a very recent interview he's lost teh hunger to fight, and that's he just wants one more farewell fight. Doesn't make sense to have it in Russia though.

              Either this isn't true, or Barrera's gonna have more than one more fight, me thinks.

                barrera back in action? ah well if he wants to fight abit more before retirement then best of luck then i guess his record says it all with wins over ATGs and him being world champion in different divisions state his true place in history

                  I like these fights when a young prospect faces an old legend of the sport. It would be good for him to add barerra to his resume
