Stay busy fight with lack of career value on Klitschko's resume, but has some entertainment + monetary value if promoted correctly.
The one interesting line of discussion here (and potential prop bet) is whether Valuev would lose on points or be stopped/ KO'd.
In my opinion, Valuev's size, cautious fighting style, and ability to absorb punishment won't save him.
He's one of the slowest boxers to set foot in the ring, and a very vulnerable target for either Klitschko. Delayed reflexes, lack of stamina, and inactivity of over 2 years will be costly in the ring. Put Valuev in with Vitali, and he's getting stopped or dropped for the first time.Comment

No argument from me there but as with everything, it's risk / reward.
He knows he looses either way. Would you rather be in there with the Athlete or the fu**ing Sadist who will try his hardest to destroy you?Comment

This is the 2nd thread recently where Vitali's record has been listed incorrectly.
In anycase I want to see someone brutalize that giant teddy bear in boxing gloves.Comment

Yes Valuev may have been inactive for a while but keep in mind that he's been out of the ring for humanity, wandering through Siberia in an attempt to track down the elusive Yeti for our benefit. He's an ambassador for humanity and some things are more important than boxing.

Klitschko should win every round. This said, I don't believe Valuev is shot. He's 38, never had a tough figt, been barely touched even in the 2 fights he lost. He always fights the same way, slow, decent left hand but slow......
By decent left hand, I mean he throws it properly, not that it scores much for him. He has no natural ability at all.Comment
