The Official Anorak Big Klit-Rahman Prediction...

... everyone's doing one, so here's the way it'll go, mark my words:

    1. One of the best staredowns in history during the referee's instructions.

    2. Big Klit starts off slow due to rust, injuries, natural caution. This goes on for about 90 seconds until Rahman lands his big right and successfully clips Vitali with it.

    3. Vitali loses it and batters Rahman to the floor in the dying seconds of the first round.

    4. Rahman stays down. He's hurt and wobbly, but lacks the heart to get back up.

    5. I use it as an excuse to climb back on Danny Williams's nuts by association.

1st round KO. Or, more realistically: Klitschko KOs Rahman within four.

Remember: This is a guy who, last time out, was rocked by Monte Barrett.

I think Rahman starts the first round trying to land overhand rights and Vitali backs up and lands jabs on him. Rahman looks like he is getting hurt but is really off balance.

Second round Rahman gets caught with a right hand that sends him to the canvas, gets up and Vitali rushes him and knocks him down again.

He stays down Vitali K.O. 2

Nice scenario. So you're feeling the "Rahman will have no heart" vibe with me, brother?

One thing I love about Vitali is the way that - especially impressive for such a big man - he just steps back to avoid shots. It looks clumsy, but it's more impressive than it appears asthetically.

Rahman is simply not on Vitali's level as a heavyweight.

That is really all I think it boils down to.

The last time Vitali said he would try his best to win by knockout, he did just that. Especially when he promised he would K.O. Kirk Johnson.

He did that, early. Another fighter who is simply not on his level.

Klitchsko by early KO seems most likely. Rahman may last until the 7th round at the most.

I have put a few points on Rahman by early Ko though (good odds).

Rahman's 7/2 underdog at the moment... that's not bad odds, but not great. I remember getting Danny Williams vs. Tyson for something like 11/1... cracking bet that.

              Yeah who knew/knows.

THE TRUTH and I claimed tyson would knock McBride out in no more than 30 seconds so my predictions are wrong to say the least.

Oh, that's not a bad prediction though, is it? I had the McBride bet (I remember Tyson's stock had fallen drastically by that point... even though Williams was/is a much better boxer than McBride, the odds had fallen to something like 8/1) but just because you'd be a twit not to, right?

That said, because of his size I think McBride would be able to go three rounds with any top 10 heavy who's shorter than he is. He's like a big oak you need to chop down.

                  Yeah that's true.

I personally don't think Toney would knock him out if they fought either. I think he would just win on points using his normal boring style of fighting.

Hopefully he would make those entertaining noises though. To at least keep me awake.
