I would love to see it, but at 150 neither fighter would get credit no matter the outcome. If Martinez wins, no matter what weight the fight is at, he picked on a smaller guy. If Pacquiao wins at 150, Martinez was drained and Pac is a coward, cherry picker, yada yada yada.

I'd prefer 154 or no fight.

I still think Mayweather-Martinez could happen. Sergio didn't just say those things just to say them. It reminds me a lot of how Ortiz and other rumors shot their mouth off about possibly fighting Mayweather, and than Golden Boy and other boxing analysts said it was a rumor. Than, after about a month or so of nothing from Floyd or anything about a fight with Ortiz, the fight was made. I am not saying Floyd-Sergio will happen, but it's still on the table, and Dibella, Sergio, and his entire camps till say Floyd is the prefered opponent. Pacquiao can always fight Bradley next spring. If Floyd doesn't fight Sergio, he will have to resort to fighting Berto, which is decent at best. Berto is still in his prime, and is a good fighter, but Floyd already beat Ortiz, who beat Berto. It wouldn't make much sense for Floyd to fight Berto.

Pac has the Bradley option on the table for next spring, Floyd doesn't have that. Khan won't be ready to fight Floyd until late summer/early fall 2012. I still hope Mayweather-Martinez happens between March-May 2012.

I know you're a pac hater but homie could be right. Call me crazy but Pac probably is technically superior than Sergio, has the foot/hand speed advantage and if his chin could hold up against a beast like Sergio, you never know. I realistically could see Pac landing in flurries against Sergio's hands down approach and busting him up a la D. Baker. Hate all you want but Pac is very accurate and gives angles from hell, tough out for Sergio @ 150.

I think Pac kos Martinez because of the catchweight. It doesn't matter whether its fair or not. Martinez knows if he wants the fight and payday, he needs to do it. If Floyd doesn't come along, I don't see why the fight can't happen. People say Martinez is unknown, but the dude is #3 on almost all P4P lists. I'll still buy the PPV...

Ok, I hear you and your opinion but Pac gets hit alot and flush by guys that are not even as good or quick as him. Pac has no defense and his footwork wasn't even good enough to cut Mosley off when he was retreating. Martinez would murk Manny. Sergio is KO'in middle weights homie and Margarito took an ass whupping from Pac and still was able to have Manny in a fetal position for 3 days after the fight. Pac would open up and take some damage. Martinez is a durable fighter and so is Pac but the differences between them are size and power and Sergio Martinez has both over Manny and that's a fact. But you have your outlook and I have mine but IF this fight EVER happens (which I don't believe it will). If Martinez is not weight drained at 150 then Pac is getting put out.

You are dreaming, he has much better defense, much better footwork, and a better skillset. At 154, that fight would not even be competitive.
