I realistically could see Pac landing in flurries against Sergio's hands down approach and busting him up a la D. Baker. Hate all you want but Pac is very accurate and gives angles from hell, tough out for Sergio @ 150.
pac is NOT accurate at all. and there is no way his chin holds up vs sergio. and if you think pac is techically superior than sergio, you dont know boxing. there is a reason pac dont fight boxers. which sergio is. you pac fans are looking at pac vs plodders and old men from the nursing home. and thinking thats how he will perform vs a REAL fighter. clottey could have killed pac if arum hadnt paid him off. and not like most people, i think JMM is going to give pac hell again. even though pac has the wt advantage. they tried to beat JMM on the scale before the ring. clowns.

pacquiao did not demand/forced delahoya to drain himself...remember, both pac and delahoya was of different division...so they had to meet somewhere in the middle...its not pacs fault that delahoya had to come down...it wasnt pacs idea to have fought delahoya...it was something that were talked about and it happened...pac and delahoya excepted...i mean, pac had to move up but yet he is getting dissed on by haters...now its marquez who has to move up but yet pac is still being hated on by haters for the catchweight...
noone talked about pac having to move up to meet delahoya...noone talked about pac having to moved back down to fight hatton...noone talked about pac having to move up again after the hatton fight to fight cotto...all pac did was move up, then down, then up, then leveled off against clottey, then back up again against margarito, now back down (even tho by not much) against marquez 3....ALL THE GOING UP AND DOWN AND UP AND DOWN AND UP AND DOWN in weight by pac gets over looked...haters will hate no matter

I totally agree and expect Top Rank to make this fight next year.

Martinez is a good solid opponent but fight would be better for both them guys if they fought Sergio at 154 because 160 ain't going to happen.
i respect your point of view.....

however, as you have pointed out, pac and floyd both hold a title in the 147 level...

of course, the hype and drama that are in play between pac and floyd, and their very contrasting styles make a fight between them a sell-out.....

but i still personally believe a pac win over sergio will cement pac's legacy as a fighter going over much bigger opponents...

a win over sergio will make people really think twice before calling pac an amateurish midget...

one more thing, some people are on the uptake that both pac and floyd avoid sergio like the plague...

so, for me,, the one between pac and floyd to get a crack on sergio first gets real brownie points,,,,win or lose....

also, if pac beats martinez, pac drained martinez....but if martinez beats pac, then pac was over rated...so either way, everything will go against pac.

I still think Mayweather-Martinez could happen. Sergio didn't just say those things just to say them. It reminds me a lot of how Ortiz and other rumors shot their mouth off about possibly fighting Mayweather, and than Golden Boy and other boxing analysts said it was a rumor. Than, after about a month or so of nothing from Floyd or anything about a fight with Ortiz, the fight was made. I am not saying Floyd-Sergio will happen, but it's still on the table, and Dibella, Sergio, and his entire camps till say Floyd is the prefered opponent. Pacquiao can always fight Bradley next spring. If Floyd doesn't fight Sergio, he will have to resort to fighting Berto, which is decent at best. Berto is still in his prime, and is a good fighter, but Floyd already beat Ortiz, who beat Berto. It wouldn't make much sense for Floyd to fight Berto.

Pac has the Bradley option on the table for next spring, Floyd doesn't have that. Khan won't be ready to fight Floyd until late summer/early fall 2012. I still hope Mayweather-Martinez happens between March-May 2012.

A Middle weight vs. A welterweight.

This fight shouldn't be even talked about they are in different weight divisions.

When Serg goes down to 150lbs at weigh in, re-hydrates to 175lbs at fight night and then looses to Manny.... All you damn Frijoles and Porch Monkeys are gonna say that Pacquiao won because he fought a weight drained opponent. Go run home and cry to your mama all you SORE LOSERS!
