i have no problem with this fight at 150. props to both fighters for making the sacrifice to make it happen if it happens. martinez is a live dog imo, even at 150. and i still dont think pac could win that one either.
I would love to see it, but at 150 neither fighter would get credit no matter the outcome. If Martinez wins, no matter what weight the fight is at, he picked on a smaller guy. If Pacquiao wins at 150, Martinez was drained and Pac is a coward, cherry picker, yada yada yada.

I'd prefer 154 or no fight.
Martinez needs to move up in weight and fight Bute, Ward, or Hopkins... Even at 154 lbs Pacquaio still murder Martinez...
Margarito will still beat the **** Martinez and knock him out again!
Fact: Antonio Margarito TKO Sergio Martinez in Round 7.
I know you're a pac hater but homie could be right. Call me crazy but Pac probably is technically superior than Sergio, has the foot/hand speed advantage and if his chin could hold up against a beast like Sergio, you never know. I realistically could see Pac landing in flurries against Sergio's hands down approach and busting him up a la D. Baker. Hate all you want but Pac is very accurate and gives angles from hell, tough out for Sergio @ 150.
I dont rate Pac that highly, and have only ever seen him fight either old or disadvantaged opponents, so it is largely guesswork.
I mean, Pacquiao's fans will insist that he could beat anyone, but the mile-long laundry list of unanswered questions that hang over Pac's recent resume, simply does not support your breakdown.
Jeez dude, Pac would not even fight the midget Marquez at a reasonable weight, and yet you think that he can live with Martinez?
At 154, which is the only weight that fight should take place, Maravilla would KTFO Pac, there is no question in my mind. I do not agree that Pac is superior to Maravilla in skills, in fact he is clearly not superior to Sergio, and he has trouble with anyone who employs good footwork/defense/counters.
And Martinez is one of the quickest fighters above 147 in the sport.
At 150, I dont see much changing if Martinez comes in without being severely drained, and he has already said that he will take six months to lose the weight properly.
Anyways, moot point, because there is no way that Pacquiao will go anywhere near Martinez, I am absolutely sure about that.
How can I be so sure?
When is the time that Pacquiao fought a live dog?
When is the last time that Pac fought someone who was on top of their game?
I'm also one of the people who think Martinez is crazy and super desperate to try and get down to 150 for a fight with Pac. He's better off fighting Pirog and cleaning up at 160or 154. It's crazy how these fighters get for a taste of the bright lights. Martinez already got paper and has a good rep for being a solid fighter. Why be so hard up to get Pac, if Arum and Pac ain't to eager to make it? I don't blame Arum or Pac if the fight happens because Dibella and Martinez are the dumb asses asking for it.
Come on man...when it comes to money, you can never have enough. You know this. I know you do.
Martinez was the one who offered the 150 CW, looks like people are rewriting history on this one already. Just like how Pacquiao demanded and forced the biggest star and money maker of his generation in De La Hoya to drain himself when they fought
actually he did prince. fred roach said oscar had to wt 147 on fight night. that way he could not re-hydrate to 154-160. looks like you are trying to re-write history. too bad there are some people here that follow boxing as a sport and not just one boxer.

Coincidence ?
Yea, right.
lead some of these cats just dont know boxing. marquez wobbled pac in the last fight. pac got a flash kd vs JMM. martinez would ko pac out of the ring. pac and roach knows this. your right they wont go no where this fight.

Don't make stuff up. Just discredit Pacquiao because Oscar was a zombie, you don't need to make stuff up to further discredit him.
I think the Pac people were just joshing when they said they'd fight at 150.
Who in their right mind would expect Martinez to agree to come down 10 lbs.
while Pac only goes up 3. No, if they wanted a fight they would have set the
weight at 153/4.
didnt martinez a while back said he'd go down to 150 to fight pac? besides, martinez will more than likely weigh between 165-175 on fight nite, still outweight pac by about 20-25lbs. just because pac fought guys weighing about 165+ on fight nite, doesnt mean that pac has to continue fighting guys 20+ lbs heavier/bigger than him.
funny how i see haters continue to hate on pac by saying he needs to fight martinez or pac is ducking. i for one would like to see martinez go up a division and fight either ward or froch first, then go back down and fight pac...jus as did pac did for delahoya, then down to hatton, then back up to cotto...lets see how martinez can deal with the weight changes in a 3 fight scenerio that spans 9 months to a year...first against froch or ward, then down to pacquiao, then up and fight cotto, if cotto is still a belt holder by then...i wanna see martinez do a pacquaio move before fighting pac...GO THRU WARD/FROCH, PAC, AND COTTO...then martinez is my P4P king, PERIOD!!!
