please get it straight. this fight wont happen because maravilla is a strong man with good boxing talent. he is not a old washed up name only fighter. sergio ko,s pac and all knows this even pac and ****roach. now if sergio had about 78 fights to his name this fight would get done. but right now, he is just too much of a live dog. and he is hungry. no way this fight happens.

It would be an interesting fight though. Not so easy for Manny. Sergio is game, southpaw, has the reach and height. They will exchange blows throughout the night, the winner will be determined by the stronger chin and better defense.

This fight should be at 154 and Mannys last fight and test before retiring. Anything before is just about $. IMHO.

The fact that Dibella knows Mayweather isn't going to fight until spring pretty much confirms there were at least negotiations. Martinez said there were discussions for a fight between March and May, and now they're probably just waiting on Floyd to decide.

Maybe your'e taking a quote and speculating what you think could have happened. There could be a few different reasons why Lou said that i.e. Floyd's court dates or the FACT that Floyd only fights once per year.

Call me crazy but Pac probably is technically superior than Sergio, has the foot/hand speed advantage and if his chin could hold up against a beast like Sergio, you never know. I realistically could see Pac landing in flurries against Sergio's hands down approach and busting him up a la D. Baker. Hate all you want but Pac is very accurate and gives angles from hell, tough out for Sergio @ 150.
