I always enjoy these Kirkland sparring videos. As usual, Kirkland likes to **** and doesn't seem to hold back much on his punches. The ring inside that warehouse with gas space heater was laughable and the sparring partner got tripped several times on the edge...

As to the sparring itself, Kirkland always seems like his working on his offense and never on his defense. He was getting tagged with some pretty decent shots by the sparring partner who, btw, looked like he was holding back some. Kirkland should be mimicking an early Mike Tyson peek-a-boo offense/defense style. He's got the physique, power and intensity but he lacks the head movement and footwork...

Thats how he always looks ******. He looks good for what he is. A full on brawler. Boxing has styles. It's not all perfect, not many use pure boxing styles.

Thats the best type of ring to use for this type of fight, Angulo is going to want it to be fought in a phone booth, I am not so sure thats the right idea for Kirkland though....
