I like Paulie and if this was like 2-3 years ago, I would have picked him in a landslide, but Maidana will just smother him and just pummel him on the inside until he reaches close enough to batter him badly. At no point ever in his career could Paulie ever beat Maidana. He's a solid fighter, but he has no power and his defense is basically him pulling straight back with his hands down. Maidana goes right through any version of Paulie. Khan and Kotelnik couldnt beat Maidana decisively, and both are much more skilled then Paulie ever will be.

What you seem to forget is Maidana is a very average one dimensional slugger that is it he's not a champion and never has been and really only will be when khan and Bradley move on he's always going to be a second rate fighter just like Paulie but as far as skills go Paulie is far far far ahead in that department and he has a very solid chin malignaggi wins easy actualy ill go as far to say as malignaggi by ra pe !
