This would be a great fight if Martinez returns to 154. Rather see this fight than any fight at 160. Only problem is that there might be a styles clash.

I'd go with Martinez. It's pretty hard to pick Lara as the winner. His best win is against Williams and no one really knows how much gas-tank Williams had left at the time of that fight.

Lara been calling Martinez out long before Martinez got a match with Williams the 1st time

Martinez does nothing that can give Lara problems really, he doesn't really apply any pressure, he just pick and choose his shot and lucky for him he fought guys like Pavlik and Williams who basically walked into ALL OF HIS PUNCHES

Lara is SKILLED ALL THE WAY AROUND and he has good footwork and speed, Lara would have no problem walking Martinez down and eventually SLOWING HIM DOWN WITH BODY SHOTS!

It don't matter though, DiBella is not going to make that fight anyway

I got Martinez by UD or late TKO.

Sergio will take away Lara's money punch ( Straight left) and outwork the shelled up Lara.

Much like Molina but with more power. potential for KO.
