Pacquiao seems to fight to the level of his competition in sparring. Could be to work on his skills (visibly slower and thinking about his next move) and test himself (not blocking body punches).

After hurting a sparring partner, Pacquiao should pretty much know what gear he can shift into against them. Some fighters are relentless (Hagler and Julian Letterlough to name a few), but fighters usually don't want to hurt sparring partners, especially if they've hurt them in the past.

Mosley used to be De La Hoya's sparring partner... What does that discredit? Nothing.

Boxing adviser Michael Koncz confirmed the recent comments that were made by trainer Freddie Roach, regarding Manny Pacquiao's 'no mercy' sparring sessions at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, California. According to Roach, Pacquiao has been '"extra rough" on his sparring partners, as he prepares for his scheduled trilogy showdown with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Real boxing fans just want to see a competitive match-up, Pac fans just want to see Manny beat another old age pensioner who is disadvantaged on the scales.

And that's ONLY giving 50%-60% like Freddie said. Pacquiao is just on another dimension seriously. I would pay to get killed by him lol. Sparring with him would be awesome. There's just no fighter in boxing right now that could come close to beating him. His godlike power+speed combination just shut you down. Period.
