If Pac Marquez 3 Goes The Distance Is That Bad For Pac?

As to the OP, well, Marquez didn't just last the 12, he won the ****ing fight! He is, as it truly counts, the welterweight champion of the world. Put up every ******, pathetic, little, sad case video of slow motion punches that Pac landed all you want (there is more than enough of Marquez doing the same, he just doesn't have such creepy, obsessed fans bored enough to go that far) he just didn't win.
He got beaten by a guy he made move up two divisions, was many, many years older and smaller and who had been looking terrible in recent fights. He was put in only because he was meant to get knocked out.
The one problem is Pac isn't nearly as good as people make out (supposedly he was prime the first fight, then it was used as an excuse that he wasn't when he only got a draw, but then he was in his prime in the second fight and was going to stop Marquez, but instead got beaten, and then once again, this time he was a true complete higher and the GOAT and Marquez was an old man they were making move up two divisions and Pac, the new, complete, super version that was unbeatable, was going to stop him in one round easily.....and yet he loses the fight comprehensively...ouch...he mustn't be in his prime yet though) and Marquez is better than people think.
We don't need to put up anything but the official scores from the judges. You believe that Marquez won but that is just your opinion.
Still, I can go back to all 3 fights and read how you guys believe that Marquez won but again, officially, he didn't! You can twist them as you wish but the results are the same.
I like Marquez and I was hoping that he put up good fights against Manny as I always wish that the underdog can make it a fight. All 3 fights were great to watch. That is all that I can ask for as a fan of boxing.Comment

Well, if you act like you're the champ and not the challenger like Marquez did in the 3logy, you'll last the distance. This is simple common sense especially when you have seen past Pac fights. Cotto lasted when he started using his bike. Clottey used a brick wall to defend himself. Mosley didn't fight and just let Pac chased him, which is a very difficult thing to do if you're really using your brain as an objective fan. Marquez countered and fought backwards.
I don't know if some people are ****** or what and they can't analyze simple situations. If that is winning in your standard then you have a very low standard. It was apparent that Pacquiao felt obligated to act like he's Bruce Lee or Superman because ****** people were expecting him to act like one. They were booing. Nothing will happen if Pac just acted like he was the champ, stayed in one spot and let the challenger come in and fight.
Pacquiao felt obligated to fight like he's the challenger because Marquez was too scared to challenge Pac and beat Pac to a pulp.

Of course, if you fight backwards and fight like you're the one being challenged and act as if you're protecting your belt, then you'll survive the distance.
Actually, it's becoming a norm these days. Get the paycheck and heave a sigh or relief when the fight is over. It's exemplified recently also in the Haye vs Klitschko fight. Haye seemed happy when he survived the distance.
That is all their objective these days. Survive and not fight to win.

Marquez was getting countered big all night long on the few times he did try to be the aggressor.
The truth is Pacquiao landed more, and in addition his connects were far solider.
An analysis on Marquez face will prove that.
Just like in the first 2 fights, where pac broke marquez nose-
and even more embarassing - in the 2nd fight, marquez needed a doctor in his corner just to finish the last 3 rounds.Comment

If your smaller & weaker than your opponent you cannot come forward, that's dumb. However if Marquez was running he would have lived on the ropes. he only touched the ropes twice i believe the entire fight. Learn the sport.Of course, if you fight backwards and fight like you're the one being challenged and act as if you're protecting your belt, then you'll survive the distance.

Marquez moved latterally & made Pacman looked ordinary & foolish. There was no reason for a 40 year old lightweight who was smaller, slower, weaker & supposedly not as great to last 12 rounds with the pfp king & in the eyes of 80% of the boxing world be the clear winner.Comment
