    Lewis vs. Klitschko

This fight has been discussed over and over. I do not want to bore you, there is just one certain point that came to my mind and I would like you to comment on my personal opinion. Thank you!

Lennox Lewis talked about possible retirement after his victory over Mike Tyson. For him there was nothing left to prove. Then he agreed on fighting Klitschko on short notice. I expect Lewis already knew this was going to be his last fight, so he wanted to make a statement: bust Klitschko up as badly as it gets, then knock him out. Lewis did not target Vitali's chin early in the fight, did he? That uppercuts came later on as Vitali's face was damaged like I have never seen it before. Maybe Lewis did not want to win very early ...

What planet are you on? Lewis was out of shape and everyone knew it, including Klitschko. Klitschko went for broke and even though he lost, he earned everyones respect that night. And when it was over, Lewis knew he was lucky he still had the belt....

You and Tremendous add a hell of a lot to these boards...appreciate it!

Maybe Laura will blow George this weekend...hey Ali G...that is more likely to happen this weekend because your boy Rock doesnt fight until the 12th...

How many ****ing times do I have to tell you to check the schedule?

          Dont disappoint me again!

1st - They both took this fight on short notice, not just Lewis. And they were both already training to fight on that date.

2nd - The "statement" Lewis wanted to make that you were referring to is just silliness. Lewis was getting beat badly and wobbled several times. When a good fighter is loosing a fight, they will usually change tactics. Also, they were grappling more in the later rounds and in closer proximity giving Lewis greater opportunity to throw the uppercut. A fighter of Lewis's experience never tries to prolong a fight.

3rd - I would just like to add, the Lewis "out of shape" theory is nothing more than an excuse Lewis fans use to explain why their idol almost lost.
