- He has dominated every opponent he has ever faced
- 45 have tried and 45 have been dominated
- Has never been behind on the scorecards at the end of a fight
- Has never been knocked down
- He is the most intimidating HW of all time
- Greatest heavyweight champ KO% of all time
- Only man ever to be world heavyweight champ in boxing and kickboxing
It's a shame that the 4 year layoff robbed him of a stronger resume. He was WBC and RING undisputed HW Champ when he retired in 2004. We never got to see his true prime. If Vitali had stayed healthy, he would've dominated the HW division from 2005-2008 and his resume would've been on par with Wladimir's great resume.
Vitali is 40 years old now. He came back after the 4 year layoff and is still dominating. He hasn't lost a single round in his comeback.

Vitali, IMO, has proven himself to be the true man in the division today. I think he would be around the arse end of the top 10 or in the top 15 at least.
People talk about the Byrd loss as if Vitali was getting his arse kicked but FACTS are FACTS and Vitali has lost 2 times whether you like or you dont.
Wladimir...i think his place in the 70's depends on which version you want. The early years where he took more risks or the nowadays jab happy Wlad who is mastermind in the ring.
Wlad for me wouldnt make it to the world title....his chin would be right there for the stars of the 70's.
