1.25 buys is a good number but there is no truth to that. We called the HBO office and they told us that the actual PPV buys for the Mayweather/Ortiz fight is not yet in. I am just wondering why people like ELLERBE and SCHAEFER will tell lies like this. They know very well that people of today are very much educated and we all have the means of communicating with other people...and yet here it is, ELLERBE and SCHAEFER are giving the public false information. First of all, I don't buy your bull**** about calling HBO. However, assuming that what you said was true, what exactly did you expect? Did you think the brass at HBO would release the numbers to a group of nobodies that called out of the blue before they released the official numbers to the media?

Also, please tell me, did you call Showtime to find out if the numbers that Bob Arum fed you about the Pac/Mosley fight were true? If not, why not? If you did, why didn't you report the numbers or what they said on BoxingScene (not that anyone would believe your bs, but that didn't stop you from writing this crap).

Great number against a relatively unknown fighter to the public, especially when the price of the PPv was at 59.99$ so that equates to around over 1.31-1.34mil.
