  • Pacquiao vs Marquez III = Ali vs Frazier III?

Pacquiao just like Ali, has his nemesis, the guy that give him the most trouble in the ring.

They might be a cut above the rest but this guy gives them hell when they fight.

Marquez is Pacquiao's Frazier, a great fighter in his own right but, but has the style, heart and raises their game against the boxing superstar.

Pacquiao vs Marquez's first two fights were very close with the KDs just shading it, Pacquiao walking away with a draw and a SD

Ali and Fraizer shared a fight a piece in two well contested in the first two match up.

But going into the 3rd fight Ali was consider a heavy favourite, Frazier was KO by Big George in two rounds knocking him down 6 times, and Ali stunned the world by stopping the wrecking machine in 8 with a masterful boxing performance.

Ali was King again and Frazier past it, sould familar?

But their 3rd fight was epic, the Thriller in Manilla, a war, each man giving everything. Ali won in the end, due to Futch pulling Frazier out before the last round, but Ali paid a high price for victory.

Pacquiao is now at the top of the world and many think Marquez has seen better days.

Knowing the history of not only these two fighters but of boxing, you would have to be a fool to write the final part of this trilogy off.

His last fight was at 140lbs.

So he is coming up half a weight.
