We will agree to disagree. If the facts are on the table, then it does not matter who presented them, but without access to that list, I will not push the issue or argue a moot point. It was pretty conclusive to me.What I'm telling you is that their facts and figures are wrong. They didn't do their research because they're ****ing idiots that don't know their history...They got one so-so journalist/writer Ben Thompson and that's it. Beyond him, the whole staff is crap.
Pac recorded weight gain is 39 pounds.
Duran had 46 pound weight gain(actually weighed in higher, but 166 was his last win of note).
Archie Moore had a 45+ pound weight gain.
Sam Langford 47 pound weight gain.
And, there's others.
Only great fighters have done this. What Pac is doing is incredible...That's why it's hard to not rank him amongst ATG's...You have to be the biggest hatter not to rank him. That's why he's an elite P4P fighter. You have to be the biggest hater not to have him there. I don't care how good Rigendaux, Gamboa, Donaire, etc etc are...They can't compete at WW against even against the opponents that Pac has...For Pac to be able to do it. Show's how amazing he is...Now does he get overrated? Of course. But, everyone does. It depends on who's doing the rating.
But no way, nobody has ever done that. None of those fighters significantly improved their conditioning/speed/power, after moving so far up in weight.
Listen to Stewards comments at the Diaz fight. He was ASTOUNDED by Pacquiao's conditioning and performance following on from the Marquez fight. Pacquiao went from looking "faded", like he was "slipping", and had been in "too many wars".... to looking "phenomenal" and an "amazing improvement" after jumping 1 division to LW.
The continuation of that trend defies logic, and could simply be answered by one completely harmless blood test.
It is absurd that we could go back and forth all day, and Pac is happy to allow us to continue debating this, when the question could be answered with a completely harmless blood test.Comment

Dont be so ****** kid.Wow..we have ourselves a ******ed bumsniff ^^^ I see! Its fairly standard that you idiots seem to forget that Floyd and his team came straight out and called Manny a cheat before they even started negotiating anything, yet you nobbers cant see that is a major factor in this fight not getting made.
Unless you were actually present at the negotiaions, you dont know for sure what went on, or what was agreed, or the actual context of that/those meetings. Thing is, your dumb fanboy arse wasnt there, so its probably best if you sit back down with the rest of the shameful parade of bumsniffs who believe every single word they read on Fightshite or every press release from Floyds team.
And whats with this save-a-***** shit? Nowhere is capable of making a **** out of himself without you coming in and doing it for him.
The only factor that killed that fight was Pacquiao refusing the test.....
The biggest fight in boxing is now on the table. Manny Pacquiao dominated Joshua Clottey over twelve rounds at Cowboys Stadium in March. Floyd Mayweather Jr. dominated Shane Mosley on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There are two issues at hand, the issue of money and the random Olympic-style drug testing. The two sides sat down earlier this year and the two fighters could not agree on the cut-off date for the random drug testing. Following the win over Mosley, Mayweather said the Pacquiao could not be made without the random drug testing being involved.

All floyd ever says is take the tests, and Pac says testing is no longer an issue.
So is Floyd implying he wants Pac to take the tests even before the contract is signed? Floyd keeps saying take the test, take the test in response to everything......its time he changed the scratced record! How about sign the contract and then Pac takes the tests?
I think Pac should insist floyd first admit he thinks Pac is the best fighter ever and thats why the tests are neccesary. He should admit Pac is absolutely incredible and thats why additional testing is neccesary to make sure Pac isnt using power pellets and not talk about Pac fighting his leftovers!Last edited by hugh grant; 10-29-2011, 04:47 PM.Comment

I agree with u about the contract, sign and then make demands. But me myself can not said that pac is a better fight. I like pac in every one of his fight, but floyd is a diffent fight for him with better def, speed and skill. And the fight will happen.I will take floyd to stop pac in 8 or 10Comment

A friendly bit of advice in case you want to put money on floyd stopping Pac in 8 rounds. Floyd hasnt stopped anyone that fast since Gatti.
So for him to stop the best fighter in the world is wishful thinking or asking for a miracle.Comment

What I'm getting at is the weak excuse that Floyd refused to fight in Singapore because he could get numbing shots for his hands. Yes, he has finished fights with broken hands, but he got numbing shots before the fight. Gotta back up a few posts so you can get the whole story sometimes.Have you done any research as to whether Floyd would have been allowed to get his numb shots in Singapore? Either way, be a man and deal with a little pain!!!! Gatti finished fights with broken hands, Gatti had nowhere near Floyd's ability but was still more of a man. Simple.Comment

I just saw this article, Singapore? They would have to fight at 11am to even sell that fight in the U.S.A.
What a dumba$$ comment from Bob, I think Arum still thinks that people listen to fights on the radio.
No promoter in their right mind would even consider this, very ****** comment.Comment
