We will see I've been let down before getting my hopes up, thinking the Roy of old will show up. Then it just becomes the same ol with Roy just talking to promote a fight.

Same.. I thought his big comeback would be against B-quit but I was let down. Then he kept getting knocked out cold and I was like Maaan just retire please and then when he said he wanted to keep fighting I was like **** it you take the risk.

And it's been a few times and somehow I feel suckered again into it because I still believe he has a little something left. *sigh*

Haha, Roy's last hurrah was against Jeff Lacy unfortunately. Give it up Roy, you lost it a long time ago.

Lol I agree in some fights he adapted his style pretty well and looks great, like when he fought Tito, he was nervous about Tito’s punching power early on so he did the Winky Wright style of defense kept his hands up and the same thing in the Lacy fight early on. He win’s the fights in good fashion then he gets ****y for his next match ala Joe C, Green. Then reverts back to his old ways thinking he’s back in his prime and usually pays for it. Roy needs to adapt his style for being slower since he is being easier to hit now. Most fighters he fights now all know his tricks and know exactly where to hit him to make him fall. But all in all I guess it could just be he needs money to pay the IRS which is why he taking more fights outside the USA now.

As for the Hopkins fight I put blame on both of them neither of them was doing anything. Hopkins would do his dirty tactics but when Roy did it back to him he goes and tries to win his Academy Award acting like he’s hurt the same stuff he was doing in the Joe C fight. Hopkins can dish it out but can’t take it when somebody does it to him. Roy was barely complaining all the stuff Hopkins was trying to do.

He's become delusional at this point. I can't help but stare at his chin when he talks now knowing how brittle it is.
